My name is Jessica. Yes, very common name but I am very unique in many different ways. I am a certified life coach, I specialize in life transitions, anxiety and stress. One of my passions (among many things) is ART! I love art! So much so, that I realized while going through my own anxiety that it HELPS with my anxiety. I know what you are thinking, how can she life coach people through anxiety if she has her own anxiety? Well, actually the best coaches have gone through things themselves. Just like an ex-drug addict understands what an addict is going through and knows the best help they can give, someone with anxiety has similar experience with it.

Becoming a Life Coach I got to learn about the brain. I love learning about the brain. WHY do I have anxiety? WHY does my anxiety hang around. WHAT does your brain have to do with it? I got to research and learn a lot of great techniques to organize your thinking, remove blocks that are holding you back AND relieve anxieties and stresses. Transitioning to new jobs, new life styles, new city, etc... I help guide you through the processes. These transitions can cause a lot of the stress and anxiety so it is helpful to be able to identify and tackle!
ART
Art can help anxiety and stress in so many ways. It can stop your focus on the negative and averts your focus to the positive in front of you. Painting, drawing, crochet, sewing, woodwork, any art helps with Critical Thinking, Creativity, Problem Solving, Communication, Resilience, Self Direction, and Reflection. I take what I have learned from YOU and WE come up with a concept and paint in what I call Painting Positive!
